I spent half the countdown thinking "this beat out Marilyn Manson?" I mean, seriously, I don't see how "The Final Countdown" is better than "The Beautiful People." And I'd hardly call "Eye of the Tiger" hard rock. That's what you get for letting the public vote on a countdown.

That aside, I'd say I agree with the top portion.

I apologize for the change in format partway down...I copied the list from a couple of different sources.

Also, anything marked with a * means I've seen that band live. :) There are aurprisingly few on this list. And, no, I didn't see the Ramones as one whole entity. But when I saw the Misfits, Marky Ramone joined them onstage and about half the set was Ramones songs. So I'm counting it, because it's the closest I'll ever get.
