August 12th – Document your new body-positive mindset through art – write a poem, make a collage, body-map, paint, draw, doodle, write a song… I don’t care what you do so long as you do it!
As for the next day...
August 13th – Take out that plan you made on the 11th; reflect on it, make sure your steps are all achievable and you’re still comfortable with the goal, and then get going on making that goal a reality!After careful review, I think vowing to drink more water and eat fresh local produce is doable and good. I didn't want to make an exercise promise because I didn't want to resent it. But today I realized how much I miss running, so I'm going to try and run more. Treadmill, probably, I've never been one for outside running. But I'm not going to vow a certain number of days or miles because then it will feel obligatory. I'm just going to do more running to make myself feel good.
Tomorrow I will try to do this:
August 14th – Wear an article of clothing that you’ve always wanted to wear, but haven’t for whatever reason; maybe its not “slimming” or it doesn’t meld with your usual look… but who cares? Just for today, put it on and rock out! (Take a picture & send it in too, if you’re so inclined!)The issue is this: my style is very eclectic, so having something that doesn't fit into it is hard. but I do have pieces that I just don't wear often, so I'll try and rock out one of those tomorrow.
